Mental Hate: Poor Projecting
We often turn our heads to silent mental hate. Mental hate is the silent judgement you offer, the negative opinion you never speak, and the eye roll you want to give when someone shares a specific success. You will be happy to know all of these are normal emotions, but ones to be handle immediately.
Much like your peace, you must protect your mental state continuously. How we project our spirit is not only important, but often our introduction before the introduction. Living a life full of negative views, thoughts, and opinions will only eat away at the beauty you have inside. What I’ve discovered is we can disagree, dislike several things, but we must train our minds to elevate higher than our opinion. Just because we don’t speak it does not make us less judgmental. Your spirit lives in you; therefore, you must have honest moments with yourself before others.
When we silently place our energy and opinions on the wrong things, we take the focus away from our own development. Choose to have a clean mind. Most think not having an opinion on others is difficult, and it can be, just needs practice. Here are some ways to practice:
Having laser focus on you.
Positively affirming others
After reading this, think of how much judgement you’ve passed in the past hour and how much energy you spent doing it. Now think of 2 things you could’ve done to enhance or prepare for your day tomorrow. Power is in the tongue, but it is also in our heads. In 2019, let’s stop projecting poorly, and project the spirit and life we all want and deserve to have.
